I am still experiencing constipation...

Question:

I recently started using your probiotics and digestive enzymes to help with constipation. I also practice intermittent fasting and experience constipation on a regular basis. While I have noticed a difference since using your products over the past 2 weeks, I am still experiencing constipation. I have followed the other advice on your website as well (whole foods, lots of water), do you have any other recommendations?

Two things… First and foremost be sure to check your caffeine intake as sometimes that can cause a contraction of the muscles which is responsible for peristaltic contractions in the intestines. Second, I would increase your magnesium 500-1000 Mg a day is enough to elicit a response as this is the most common mineral deficiency which is essential to relaxing the muscle contractions of the body. Third, I would also try a little bit of HCL after meals as most people by the time they hit 40 are not producing enough HCL. Also as a quick fix you can use our latest product onsticleanse. It’s designed to only be used for a quick fix and shouldn’t be used for more than a week or two. Also you can also take Vitamin C in high dosages which will cause a break in the GI barrier which will clear the colon pretty quickly. 10000 mg is usually sufficient in most people but be sure to do this at a time when your not at work or have appointments as you often get the runs until you clean out the colon…
